September Events!

Check out what is happening in September!

Fall is one of my favorite time of year. Even as the leaves are falling and summer is ending, Fall marks the beginning and rebirth of events that have been on hold for the busyness of summer activities. I'm listing out the events going on with the shop so you have time to sign up and participate!

Not to mention, it's a great place to come and meet other epic queens or princesses of the hill!

  • Thursday, September 8, 6 - 8pm - As the Bicycle Turns - Cycling and Your Pelvic Floor  @ AK Cycle Chic -

Join Melissa Sundberg, PT - Pelvic Physical Therapist for a unique, FUN, and educational event to learn about the how to improve pelvic health and overall wellness in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where we can easily laugh and learn; and all the questions you've always wanted to ask; from the bathroom to the bedroom.

Women tend to think of the pelvic floor with regard to sex and continence, but you may not realize your pelvic floor muscles play a major role in core stabilization and injury prevention.

A strong and functional pelvic floor, along with an understanding of how our deep core works together will literally make you feel stronger from the inside out! Sign up here

  • Thursday, September 15, 6 - 8pm - Bike Chain Repair Workshop in collaboration with She Jumps Far North -

Susan Skvorc will show you how a bicycle chain is put together and how it works. Better yet, she will show you how to choose a chain, replace a chain, repair a chain, clean a chain, and keep it working smoothly. Nothing ends a ride quicker than a broken chain! It’s a greasy job, so bring latex or nitrile gloves if you don’t want to get your hands dirty, because this will be a hands on session! Sign up here
